Gold Coast Martial Arts Association has outgrown Soke Sweany’s dreams, not only with membership in South Florida but throughout the United States, including members in Europe, Central and South America.
Gold Coast Martial Arts Association has become a worldwide fraternal organization of martial artists of all ranks and styles.
Soke Sweany was also a former executive director of the United Judo Association and Florida representative to United States Karate Association.
After Soke Darryl Sweany passed away in 1992 Grandmaster Joseph Williams took over the organization. Grandmaster Williams has added seminars, tournaments, circuit, camps and an exceptional karate Hall Of Fame which recognizes instructors for dedication and hard work.
